I received the Ph.D. in Computer Science and Digital Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2006 with excellent Cum Laude and the European Doctorate mention. In 2007, I obtained a “Juan de la Cierva” postdoctoral fellowship in the Computer Vision Center of Barcelona. In 2009, I visited the Robotics Institute of Carnegie Mellon University (6 months) with a “Jose Castillejo” grant. Since 2009, I have been part of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Analysis of the Universitat de Barcelona, as Lecturer (2009-2013) and Tenured Associate Professor (from 2013-present). I have published 13 papers in ISI journals and I have a positive evaluation for six-year research periods (sexenio) (2003-2008). My h-index is 9 (Google Scholar) and the total number of cites is 360 (Google Scholar).
