I am a BGSMath – María de Maeztu Ph.D. student at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica under the supervision of Professor Tim Myers and I am working on diffusion processes and nanoparticle growth.

Previously, I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, with a thesis that analyzes a mathematical model of the transport/diffusion processes of heavy metals and fine sediments in shallow waters, under the joint supervision of Professor Eugenio Montefusco (University of Rome “La Sapienza”), professor Lino Álvarez Vázquez (University of Vigo) and Professor Carmen Rodríguez Iglesias (University of Santiago de Compostela).

During 2016, I was a technology transfer officer at the Institute for the Applications of Calculus of the Italian National Research Council (IAC-CNR) to foster the collaboration between research groups in Mathematics and the Italian industry.
